I just wanted to share a little bit about this practice!! This isn’t anything you HAVE to know. But may be beneficial if you do!

Why We Move

This little morning practice is designed to help you wake up the body, support lymphatic movement, and gently connect with your nervous system before moving into your day.

Why lymph?

Your lymphatic system plays an important role in fluid balance, immune function, and clearing cellular waste from the tissues.

Unlike your circulatory system, lymph doesn't have a heart acting as one central pump. Movement, breathing, and muscle contractions all help lymph move through the body.

This is one reason we're bringing simple movement into Replenish.

We're not asking the body to perform. We're helping it move, circulate, and receive support.

The Leg Three Miles Point

We'll also work with ST36 (Zusanli), an acupressure point traditionally known as the Leg Three Miles Point.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, ST36 is associated with energy and stamina, digestion, pain relief, and immune support. Its name comes from the traditional idea that stimulating this point could give a weary traveler enough strength to walk another three miles.

Which feels pretty damn perfect for Replenish.

We're not forcing ourselves forward.

We're tending to the body that carries us there.
