I’m Jen Hampton

the creator behind Spirited Treasure. I am a Medium/Intuitive, Reiki I practitioner, hair stylist, Qi-gong lover, wife, and most important of all — I’m a mom!

As a little girl, I felt I was different — I could feel people’s emotions, sense what they were thinking, and felt things that weren’t part of the physical realm. Raised Lutheran, I never felt I was getting the whole “story”. Is this what God is really like? I had an overwhelming sense there was more. Even though religion was a big part of my childhood, my mom and I believe in the Paranormal and Mediums. As I grew older and gained new experiences, I started to identify more with Mediums and their abilities. I discovered I had an intuitive gift. As my belief in religion dwindled, I slowly shifted into having faith in the spiritual world. 

As I approached adulthood, I barely noticed the spiritual path I was on. I chose to attend beauty school, met my now-husband, and I got my first job as a hairstylist. I started noticing special people were entering my life as I transitioned to another salon — a magical moment that helped catapult me onto my spiritual path. Feeling comfortable in starting to welcome my intuitive abilities, I started learning who I was. As I made that commitment to myself, my inner circle started to change, my friends cultivated on their own, and I connected more and more to the other side. 

Hesitant to tell people about my gift, I started giving readings to clients I felt safest with while they were getting their hair done. As I got more comfortable, I took a class with a local medium, Desiree Dennis, from Central Pennsylvania. I was immersed into a culture of like-minded individuals and gained new perspectives. This is where I felt most at home. 

I gained confidence while working with Desiree and her mother, Terri, and felt more compelled to listen to what I was being guided to do. I was finally ready to love myself and my gift! I wanted to transition into this field full time, but remained patient and allowed myself to do readings as they happened organically to gain more experience. 

Then the Covid-19 pandemic hit…

In a time when our world was in the midst of worldwide lockdowns, I was able to find some solace. I, alongside many others, wanted to re-evaluate many areas of my life and find ways to make the changes I yearned for. I depended on my connection, spirit guides, and loved ones to relay messages to me on how to proceed. Amidst turmoil, I was guided to go part-time as a hair stylist, refocus my energy, and trust the process. I was inclined to come out publicly as a Medium and offered to do readings for people while we were all stuck at home. 

The year 2020 gave me and my family time. Time that allowed me to slow down, focus on my husband and two kids, and actually bring my creative vision to life — The Guidance Oracle Deck. This deck alone provided momentum to create my brand, Spirited Treasure. I wanted to create a brand that makes people feel loved, good about themselves, and to help people look within. Spirited Treasure is supposed to remind everyone to laugh along the way and that we are all in this together! 

I am so thankful for your support and helping my business grow. With the intention of reaching those who need reminding of how magical they are, I will be making more cards to help people feel connected and shine together.
